NO! I only work on Virgin Brows. Virgin Brows are brows that have never been tattooed or microbladed before. If you have work from another artist and would like to book a service with me, a consultation is mandatory. You must book a consultation before booking a service appointment. If you do not book a consultation before your scheduled appointment and have previous work done, I may not be able to work with you and your appointment will have to be canceled. If you are unhappy with your previous work from another artist, or may need a correction based on my recommendation, please read below to know more about corrections.
If you are unsatisfied with the color, shaping, appearance, and overall look of your brows, this will be considered a correction. If you have previous work from an artist that I have to adjust based on the consultation we have, or will have, it will also be considered a correction. Corrections are very tedious and take time and patience.
- Adjusting the color of the previous pigment placed by creating the right color formula.
- Understanding overtones and undertones and why the pigment may have adjusted to an unfamiliar color.
- New shaping measurements while also covering the previous work and creating an even appearance.
- Working with the depth of the pigment from the previous artist.
This minimum time frame a client will be at the studio during a correction is 3 hours. Pricing will vary based on each client depending on the previous work. Pricing for corrections start at $650 and up. 4-6 week touch ups are mandatory in correction process and are included in the agreed pricing. If you do not show up within the 4-6 week mark, a client will have to book an "additional service." Pricing for additional service is $100.
Microblading is only ideal for clients with DRY skin. If you have oily or combination skin, microblading will NOT last. Microblading consists of manually placing thin hair strokes along your brow with pigment to give the illusion of natural, full brows. When a PMU artist microblades on a client with oily or combination skin, the oils break down the pigment a lot faster than a client with dry skin. We often suggest to clients with oily and combination skin to do powder or ombre brows to ensure long lasting results. If you are interested in Microblading, I recommend booking a consultation prior to appointment to ensure you are good candidate.
The benefits of PMU often differs between clients. Majority of clients find it ideal to wake up with makeup rather than rushing their mornings to prepare for the day. Another client may wish to have their natural features accentuated to increase self-confidence & enhance a youthful appearance. Permanent makeup also helps clients who struggle with the application of regular makeup by not have to worry about the challenges day to day.
Every client is different during the healing process. The day of treatment, you may be swollen along with redness and tenderness. All swelling will go down by the next morning the latest. Day 1-5 will be your vibrant days! This goes for lips and brows. Clients will leave the studio with bright and bold pigment. You will not stay this dark or vibrant. Pigment will always neutralize. Within a few days, the treated area will begin to peel & flake. This is NORMAL! Do not pick any of the pigment off when it begins to peel. Once the lips/brows have finished peeling, you will enter a ghosting phase. Do not be alarmed. Color may appear a lot lighter. This is normal! Your skin is now healing and resurfacing. The color will come back! Always trust the process. By your 2-week mark, your color will begin to pop through and increase by 10-20%. The first 2 weeks of healing are your most crucial timing for proper after care! Treatment will be fully healed by your 4–6-week mark. I always encourage my clients to stay connected with me via text or call during the healing process if they have any questions. I always get back to my clients within a few hours. All clients heal differently based on lifestyle, activity, and how much aftercare they place on themselves. At your scheduled service, I go over an aftercare sheet with more specific time frames, what you may need, what to do and what not to do. You will be given a copy of your aftercare sheet as well as an aftercare product that will help give you the best results!
Yes! Permanent Makeup Tattooing is suitable for everyone!
Absolutely! A consultation is roughly about 30 minutes. We will go over your expectations, desired look, colors, shapes, and skin type! A non-refundable consultation fee of $25 is required. If you do wish to continue with service after your consultation, the $25 fee will be credited towards your service the day of appointment.
Permanent makeup tattooing can last upwards of 3 to 5 years. Eyebrows tend to last longer while lips tend to last for 2. This is dependent on lifestyle. Sun, facials, retinol creams, exfoliants, and exercise all contribute to your results of PMU. I always recommend a refresher, which consists of a yearly touch up to maintain results for all services.
Microblading and Nano Brows are very similar when it comes to the healed results. Both services give you the hair-like strokes within your brows. Both have pros and cons based on every client. Microblading is performed with a manual tool. Nano is performed with a machine used for all other PMU services. Microblading is suitable for clients with dry skin only. Nano is suitable for all skin types. Microblading tends to be a little more invasive in the skin being that the artist is manually servicing the area. Nano is less invasive; however, it is more tedious. The results of Nano tend to last longer then Microblading being that it is machine work. If you are a client that wants the hair strokes but have oily, combo skin, Nano will give you the best results.
